Graphic Card (GPU)
In general, there are principally four different things to look for when buying graphics cards. These are the graphics card chip, the amount of RAM, the cooling and the clock rate.
When optimizing your computer with a new graphics card, it is important to find one that is optimized for your computer's processor (CPU). So you need to make sure that these two data components complement each other so that you can get the most out of your computer. In short, it doesn't make sense to buy a good graphics card if you don't also have good processor that match the ones you have purchased.
Choose a graphic card optimized for the screen
Your graphics card must be compatible not only with your processor, but also with your monitor. The higher the resolution of your monitor, the better the graphics card must perform. You should also look at your screen refresh rate here, which also plays an important role in the quality of the graphics card you need.
Types of graphics cards for different tasks
If you work with 3D animation or other advanced programs, this also requires a high-performance graphics card. If you work daily with demanding programs, such as Adobe for example, you probably need a workstation graphics card, whereas as a general-purpose user you can usually do with a standard graphics card.
There can be a big difference in performance between the different types of graphics cards and software to be used, distributed on Nvidia Geforce and Nvidia Quadro graphics cards with CUDA technology.
At Foxway, we focus mainly on graphics cards for desktop workstations, and our local Account Managers are happy to help you and your customer find the most optimal solution.
